These terms govern your use of the PromptWake command line tool, local daemon, web application and any hosted services we provide. Using the software means accepting them.

Local capture is provided free of charge and without any commitment that it will remain available in its current form. It requires no account and sends nothing to us.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops future billing; local capture continues to work regardless of subscription status.

Prompts, responses, code and records remain yours. Where you enable sync you grant us the permission necessary to store and transmit that content in order to provide the service, and nothing beyond that. We do not use it to train models.

The product records what it observes. It does not warrant that everything which happened on every machine was observed: a device without the recorder installed produces no record, and the reports state coverage rather than assuming it.

Attribution is produced by matching stored text against files on disk. It is a measurement with documented limits, not a proof of authorship, and material that cannot be matched is reported as unattributed rather than assigned.

Reports produced by the software are evidence you may choose to submit. They are not an attestation, a certification, or advice about whether you satisfy any particular obligation. Decisions about your regulatory position remain yours and your advisers'.

Do not use the software to monitor people without a lawful basis for doing so, and do not use it to circumvent another party's terms or licences.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You may stop using the software at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for use that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.
