Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for paid PromptWake plans (Pro and Team). The free, local tier requires no payment and is not covered by this policy.
01Subscriptions & billing
Paid PromptWake plans are offered as recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually through our payment provider, Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
02Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. When you cancel:
- your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep access to everything you paid for;
- you are not charged again after the current period ends; and
- your account automatically returns to the free, local tier.
03Refund eligibility
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of the charge you are asking about. A refund within this window is not guaranteed; we consider factors such as usage of the paid features and the reason for the request, and we aim to be fair.
The following are generally not eligible for a refund:
- charges older than 14 days;
- renewals you intended to cancel but did not — please cancel before the renewal date;
- accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
04How to request a refund
Email oguzhancart1@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge. Include the email address on your account, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and a brief reason. We typically respond within one business day. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Polar; the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.
05Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
